Kate Moss Wears Monochrome To The Launch Of Her Very Own Champagne Glass

Kate Moss For Mango Summer 2012
Kate Moss has had a lot of things made in her likeness: portraits, statues etcetera. But glassware has never featured high on that list. Until now that is. That's right, Mossy has provided the inspiration for a coupe glass. Or, to be more specific, her breast has. Yep, artist Jane McAdam Freud (daughter of Lucian Freud who has also painted Ms Moss), who designed the champagne glass, modelled it around Kate's breast (quite literally it seems) to celebrate 25 years of the model's career. Freud's design echoes the legend of Marie Antoinette, whose left breast was the alleged inspiration for the first ever coupe glass.
It Don't Matter If You're Black And White
'I was excited to participate in this project, what an honour to be alongside Marie Antoinette - she was a very intriguing and mischievous character,' said Moss at the time. 'Champagne is always associated with celebration and happy occasions and I had fun creating this beautiful coupe.' And yesterday Kate and a bevy of her celebrity pals descended on the 34 restaurant in Mayfair, where the glasses were designed for, to celebrate the launch of the glass. While we don't know what they ate, we're guessing a lot of champagne was quaffed.
What The?! Kate Moss Was Seen Wearing My 'tsuru Bird' T Shirt?!
Kate wore a blazer and wide-legged trousers, complete with cummerbund, for the occasion, which she vamped up with a net top and Louboutins. Rita Ora also chose to step out in monochrome for the event, teaming a white shirt over a sheer black skirt and bodysuit. Luckily she had a gilet to keep out the cold. Jamie Winstone, Sadie Frost and Jo Wood were also all on hand to support their pal.

So, if you want to know what it's like to sup from a glass shaped like Kate's boob, then we suggest you head to the 34 restaurant in Mayfair...
