Cindy Crawford Used To Count Pasta As A Diet Food

Cindy Crawford
Cindy Crawford is one of our all time favourite supermodels. Not only is she a constant source of beauty and style inspo, but she tells it like it is and her latest comments on turning 50 have just made us love her even more.

In an interview with magazine Violet Grey, Cindy revealed she misses the 90s, not so much for the fashion (after all, it appears everyone's still wearing it), but because in those days pasta was considered a diet food. There was none of that Atkins rubbish back then it seems. 'Remember back in the ’90s when people thought a big bowl of pasta was a low-calorie option?' Cinday said in the interview. 'Those were the days! Today, eating that is like eating a sundae.'

Still, even if Cindy did (and, hopefully, does) indulge in the odd carbonara, it certainly doesn't show. But then there's more to staying looking this beautiful and healthy than avoiding carbs.
Mind The Style
I’ve been getting microdermabrasion facials with Cristina Radu for 13 years, and that’s been great for my skin, Cindy said. 'When a 35-year-old starts taking care of her skin, she won’t look different. It’s when you’re my age that you start seeing the payoff.'
