The internet has gone into overdrive these last few days, as rumours have begun swirling around a possible new Sex and the City film. It's true that SATC film gossip is never far away, but this time the rumour mill hasn't been set into motion by an unknown 'source', but rather by the original cast of the show – namely Sarah Jessica Parker and Kristin Davis – as well as Jennifer Hudson, who has hinted that she may have a role in an upcoming movie.
And SJP isn't doing much to put the whispers to bed. In fact, she appears to be positively adding fuel to the fire. The actress posted a picture of herself today sitting on what looks like Carrie Bradshaw's very own New York steps alongside her shoe collection, prompting over 47,000 of her followers to like the picture and send SATC fans into a total frenzy.
Sure, this could just be a bit of harmless promotion for her footwear label, but the caption 'It was take your @sjpcollection shoes to work day' alongside the hashtags '#longdayforCarrie #whewwwwthosesteps #runninginheels #taxi!' have us thinking otherwise. So come on ladies, what's going on? Is there going to be a new movie or not..?
